FAQ
Where are you based? Do you travel?
I’m based in Brooklyn, NY, but I travel often and love any excuse to explore new places. I’ve had the honor of shooting weddings in Aruba, Las Vegas, Iceland, Malibu, and across the East Coast. Before moving to NYC, I was in Boston, and I’m there frequently as well. Let's chat about your wedding day vision, and we'll make it happen wherever your celebration takes us!
What is your shooting style?
My style blends photojournalism, editorial fashion, and a deep connection to the energy of the day. I’m here to help you feel and look your best in portraits while capturing the raw, authentic moments that unfold naturally. My goal is to create timeless, soulful imagery that tells your unique story with love and intention.
What sort of gear do you use?
I’m a Canon enthusiast and shoot with the Canon 5D Mark IV and a variety of lenses for flexibility in any lighting or setting. I also come fully equipped with backup gear and insurance, so I’m ready for anything the day brings.
What advice would you give a couple searching for a wedding photographer?
Your photographer will be by your side throughout your wedding day, capturing moments of joy, laughter, and emotion. Choose someone who makes you feel comfortable and like the stars of your day. I show up as your friend, helping you stay present in every moment while I capture your love story in a way that feels as magical as it is real.
Do you work with a second shooter or assistant?
I have a trusted team of second shooters I work with regularly, all experienced wedding professionals who share my style and approach. Many couples opt for a second shooter for added coverage, dual perspectives, and logistical support. While I’m more than happy to shoot solo, I love having the option to bring an additional lens into the mix.
Do you shoot in color or black and white?
I shoot in color but love processing some images in black and white for an added emotional depth. About 1/3 of your images will likely be in black and white, depending on the mood and stylistic choices of the day.
How many photos can we expect to receive?
You can expect about 50-100 carefully retouched, high-res images per hour of coverage. My goal is to fully capture the excitement and essence of your day without overwhelming you with too many options.
Can we order prints through you?
Absolutely! I offer beautiful print options through your online gallery, and I personally oversee the quality at my trusted print lab to ensure your photos are perfectly preserved.
When do we get to see our photos?
You'll get a sneak preview within two weeks via email, Instagram, or Facebook. Your full wedding gallery will be ready within 16-18 weeks of your wedding day, giving you time to relive every moment while I meticulously edit your images.
